The Huracán made its global debut in 2014 as the successor to the immensely popular Gallardo, which had carried the brand’s torch for over a decade. The Gallardo was Lamborghini’s best-selling model at the time leaving the Huracán with big shoes to fill.

Named after a famous fighting bull, the Huracán continued Lamborghini's tradition of naming cars after legendary bulls. It represented a significant evolution for the brand — blending the raw, aggressive persona Lamborghini is known for with more refined driving dynamics and advanced technology. It was also the first Lamborghini to feature a dual-clutch transmission, dramatically improving performance and driver experience.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10, the original Huracán delivered over 600 horsepower, launching it from 0 to 60 mph in just over 3 seconds. The car was a hit both critically and commercially and quickly became a staple of Lamborghini’s lineup.

Over the years, the Huracán has evolved through various versions, including rear-wheel drive variants and track-focused editions like the Performante, as such it has become Lamborghini's best-selling model, surpassing the Gallardo and helping to modernize the brand for a new generation. Where the Aventador represents raw V12 power and flagship luxury, the Huracán is a more accessible supercar that combines daily usability with unfiltered performance.

The “Evo” badge signifies more than just a facelift — it denotes a re-engineering of the car’s brain and body, with the addition of rear-wheel steering and torque vectoring the Evo is a supercar that’s not only brutally fast but also incredibly agile.
