2018 Porsche 911 Turbo S "Exclusive Series" 037/500
Information

What makes a car a collectable investment?

 In short, its rarity.

For some time now manufacturers have been producing “special edition” versions of certain models, but in truth the only thing that really does make them “special” and “collectable” is their exclusivity.

Porsche know all about this. They have released many special models over the years, all of which being unique cars produced in small numbers to whip up a supply and demand whirlwind!

The 991.2 Turbo S “Exclusive Series” is no exception and, as the name would suggest, this is a car that represents the very essence of exclusivity with just 500 being made for the world.

To try and put this into perspective, if we look at recent Porsche 911 special editions, there were 1,963 50th Anniversary editions produced, 991 examples of the 911 R produced and 1,948 of the 991 Speedster built which by comparison makes the Turbo S “Exclusive” a very rare car indeed.

Each Turbo S “Exclusive Series” wears a plaque on the dashboard trim showing its unique production number acting as a subtle reminder that you are very unlikely to see another on your travels.

Besides the numbers, what else makes the Turbo S “Exclusive Series” so special?

It was only available to order in three colours: Agate Grey, Carrera White and most importantly, Yellow Gold.

Both Agate Grey and Carrera White could be ordered on any 911 during the time of production. Yellow Gold, however, was a one-off paint finish created specifically for the “Exclusive Series” that was not available on any other car at the time or subsequently since.

There is an extensive use of carbon fibre throughout the Turbo S “Exclusive Series”, most notably the bonnet, roof and side-skirts, all of which are made entirely of carbon, but have been painted to create contrasting stripes over the car.

A carbon fibre rear spoiler and rear diffuser are also unique to the “Exclusive Series” and in the interest of rounding things off, the model also features the carbon fibre exterior package as standard that includes carbon door mirror caps, rear engine cover louvres and window trims.

Even more unique to the “Exclusive Series” is the bespoke carbon used throughout the interior which was forged with gold thread through the weave to create a gold shimmer never seen before on any Porsche.

Its not just about cosmetics, the Turbo S “Exclusive Series” also features the optional power kit as standard which hikes the power output from 572BHP to a savage 599BHP driving all four wheels from 0-60 in just 2.6 seconds, as recorded by EVO Magazine during their product review in July 2017.

Forza Clienti are delighted to offer this rare 911 Turbo S “Exclusive Series” presented as new.
